About the 2016 Conference
Join colleagues from around New Zealand, Australia, the Asia Pacific region and the world to explore this year's AES conference theme – Landscapes.
With keynote speakers Victoria Hovane, Kathryn Newcomer, Ziad Moussa and John Owen, we are inviting you to reflect on what diversity and change in social, cultural, organisational, environmental, political and economic landscapes means for evaluation and evaluators.
Lets consider how we work within and between those landscapes, what impact our work has on them (both positive and negative), and how we respond to changes in their terrain (particularly those changes that we create). Lets also consider how the diversity of the landscapes we work in and their changing features has shaped our past evaluation practices, contributed to the practices we currently use, and how it could influence evaluation practices of the future.
Together we will use evaluation to bring together our values, hopes, thinking, skills, and experiences in pursuit of a better tomorrow.
Whatever your interest or level of experience as a practitioner, user, commissioner, allied professional, or policy maker, program developer, or service provider, evaluation is central to ensuring the effectiveness and relevance of your work be it social policy and programs, domestic and international community development or public and commercial business practice.
Evaluation is everyone's business!
Don't miss the opportunity to participate in the conference and pre-conference workshop program and learn from and contribute to discussions with leading thinkers and practitioners in evaluation today.
